                            What is hypno-systemic consulting?

                            The German MD, coach and psychotherapist Gunther Schmidt developed hypno-systemic consulting as an amalgam of various systemic approaches and Milton Erickson’s hypnotherapy. Hypno-systemic consulting aims at creating more choice and allowing us to use both our conscious and unconscious potential by moving between rational and critical discourse and the exploration of our “involuntary” actions. 

                            Hypno-systemic consulting allows us access to our unconscious or “involuntary” aspects of experience by focusing on our inner reality, i.e. images, processes and perceptions. In the coaching process we observe and irritate involuntary patterns of behaviour with systemic questioning techniques, meta level observation or by using the language of the “involuntary”.
